Bye Bye Betty

First things first. I had to erase a song. We’ve reached full capacity so to add news songs, old ones gots to go. This is tough. I guess this is what grown ups were refering to when they would warn me about the “real world.” Limited hosting is real, a little too real, and I’m having trouble with this. So our first casualty was Charles Earland’s Betty’s Theme. My thinking on this one was that since I don’t know anyone named Betty it is highly unlikely that anyone named Betty is visiting Songstory, therefore there’s no good reason to have theme music available for Bettys. Sound reasoning? I thought so.
Our newest addition is a little gem–a 9th Wonder remix of Hieroglyphics Make Your Move.
I love this remix. Obvious. Why else would I put it up if I didn’t? I enjoy pretty much every verse and the hook (I think its sung by Goapele) but my favourite aspect is the pro-production.
9th Wonder is an ASSHOLE! for being so good. I wish I was that good at something cool like hip hop production. Instead I’m stuck being fucking brilliant and beautiful. What a jip.

the best part about you having to abandon betty (provided you keep this up long enough) is that we’ll be able to request her 10 years down the road with one of those nostalgic requests like “hey! remember that day when you said 9th wonder was an asshole because your ass crack was so beautiful! i wanna hear betty betty!”
the girl on this track sounds tres malade. but i guess that’s her stab. i say stab cause when you stick out you stab suckaz right in tha trick daddy nads. rappin in my case - is much more of a fad . ps. i saw zack @ revival last night. zack the radio talk show host whom i was introduced to by the lovely bryce.
i like gary’s posts because the last time i’ve read something he wrote was in honess’ class.

Remember when this was just track 4 on Full Circle? Me neither.. Just the other day I was listning to this album in the car..and when make your move came on I nearly choked.SWERVE SCREECH “where the hell is the ‘do do do , do do do doooo’”? I thought. It’s just not the same without the “do doo’s”. It’s almost like 9th wonder put plain old track 4 to such shame that our brains automatically eliminated any memory of the un-remixed version of this song.
